CERN Library Support People

See the future plans under the heading "Cern Release Schedule."

Briefly, CERN has decided to cease all development of CERNlib as of the end of 2003. Operating systems other than Linux have been abandoned altogether. For major new Linux releases, recompilations will be attempted but testing and/or certification is left to potential users. If the certification fails, CERN will not provide support. See the future plans page for full details.
