The CLHEP project contains various HEP-specific utility software packages.

The CD/CEPA/APS group has contributed code to CLHEP and helps to maintain CLHEP both at CERN and FNAL.

CLHEP 1.8.x is available at FNAL as part of ZOOM or as a UPS/UPD product. As of CLHEP 1.9, CLHEP is no longer distributed as part of ZOOM and will be found in UPS/UPD.

At FNAL, CLHEP is released as the clhep product for a variety of platforms and compilers. The source code is distributed separately, as the clhepsource product.

As of CLHEP 1.9.0.0, CLHEP was reorganized so that the software components can be built and distributed separately or as the complete CLHEP release.
