Information for TOSCA Users at FNAL

TOSCA, OPERA2d, and OPERA3d are tools proivded by Vector Fields for electromagnetic field calculations in magnet design.
We have at FNAL licences (and upgrade and maintenance) for 20 users, now configured as 5 simultaneous users on the Sun and 15 hardware devices ("dongles") which plug in to a USB port and enable use on a Windows PC.
Obtaining one of these dongles is done through the Computing Division helpdesk.

There is a designated TOSCA support person for assistance in licensing and related issues.
The mailing list TOSCA-OPERA@fnal.gov includes users of these products at FNAL.
