P.S.M.
The Physics Simulation and Modeling Group (PSM) supports simulations
activities relevant to current and future Fermilab projects, by
providing expertise in detector and physics modeling tools. The Group
concentrates on support and development of physics generators for Run II
and future energy frontier experiments, as well as on GEANT4 based
detector simulation applications related to future experiments such as
CMS. The development and maintainance of physics libraries related to
simulations, such as HepMC and HepPDT, are also part of the PSM efforts.
Finally, the Group is participating in the development of the hardware
and software infrastructure for the Lattice QCD cluster.
